Force 50 Foundation Announces Grant Recipients

NORMAN – The Force 50 Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of the latest grants to our “One Mission – One Force” Network Partners. Twice each year the Force 50 Foundation awards funding grants to partner organizations whose primary mission is to serve Oklahoma veterans. Request deadlines are June 30 and December 31 with selections and announcements made in January and July.

One Mission – One Force Network Partner grants were awarded to: Dale K. Graham Veterans Foundation for their Direct Disabled Veterans Assistance program; Warriors for Freedom Foundation for their Art and Family Programs for 2023; Community Service Council and Oklahoma Veteran Alliance to reduce veteran suicide in Oklahoma with priority targeting rural areas; Robert Kalsu Legacy Group to recognize the legacy of Robert Kalsu, a Del City high school graduate, a University of Oklahoma alumni, and Bufflao Bills football player, as the only professional athlete killed during the Vietnam War; and a matching challenge grant to The Education and Employment Ministry (TEEM) for the purchase of a vehicle to transport veterans in Department of Corrections custody to doctor appointments, job interviews, and court appearances.

Force 50 Foundation is a 501 c 3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving quality of life for Oklahoma veterans. This is accomplished by directing donated funds to improve access to programs and organizations supporting veteran healthcare, education, employment, housing, and family needs.

We accomplish our mission by building bridges to connect organizations caring for, helping, serving, and honoring Oklahoma veterans. We provide grant funding to partner organizations in our “One Mission – One Force” network. We also provide emergency aid to individual veterans in crisis.
