Finding help can feel overwhelming. Force 50 Foundation is here to help empower Veterans and their families in connecting with organizations that offer a variety of vital services including education and career development, medical assistance, mental health services, housing, workforce and job readiness, community connection, and food and clothing needs.

Resources

OKVALOR. OKVALOR is the Oklahoma Veteran Assistance Locator. This program is a GIS mapping system that helps Oklahoma’s service members, Veterans and their families find the help, resources and services they need in a timely and efficient way across 10 varying areas, such as employment, education, food, housing and legal assistance. It is operated by the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs.

 

EAGLE OPS. Eagle OPS is charitable non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to providing opportunities for Veterans, Veteran families and patriots to build relationships through social activities, fitness and volunteerism. Through these relationships, Eagle OPS is connecting Veterans to resources and assisting in a healthy transition home.

 

Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs. The ODVA offers suite of services for veterans, ranging from employment to assistance with Veteran benefits.

 

Honoring America’s Warriors. Honoring America’s Warriors based in Oklahoma City, is a charitable non-profit that provides assistance to wounded service members and Veterans through adaptive sports, outdoor hunting and fishing adventures, service dog training, critical and minor home repair, and an Honor Guard.

 

Oklahoma Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services. The ODMHSAS is the state’s safety net mental health and substance use treatment services system with statutory authority responsible for prevention, treatment and recovery from mental illness, substance abuse and addictive disorders.

 

The Community Service Council. The Community Service Council, based in Tulsa, assists homeless Veterans, or who are facing immediate eviction, and their families in 35 Oklahoma counties find rapid rehousing through a grant from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.  Goodwill Industries of Oklahoma City provides the same services for Central Oklahoma.

 

Scars and Stripes Coffee. This is an Oklahoma-based company operated by Veterans for those Veterans who would like to start their own e-based online coffee sales operation.  It focuses on camaraderie by only recruiting Veterans for its sales staff.

 

Oklahoma Veterans Alliance. The alliance provides scholarships for veterans in partnership with state technical trade education to enter high-paying, high-quality careers. It also hosts state-wide events that enable Veterans to connect with each other.
